DAVID RICHARDS

FILMMAKER, VIDEO EDITOR AND SYNTHESISER ENTHUSIAST

About me

I trained as an actor and after a number of years trying out a ludicrous number of different jobs, I settled into working in video and film.

I was the first editor of the well-received feature documentary, The Man Whose Mind Exploded; I was a co-founder and director of award-winning Brighton-based video production company, Big Egg Films; I was a producer at the film and art organisation, Lighthouse, where I produced the sound and film event The Space in Sound, assisted on the executive production of numerous BFI and BBC short films, and was a key member of the team that ran the high-level film industry mentoring scheme, Guiding Lights.

Music has always been a significant hobby of mine, either playing it or making it. I'm very lucky that I am able to combine both in my recent work making synthesiser videos. You can contact me via instagram or over email using the buttons below.
